The Black Rose Pub – Boston

During our last night in Boston we were looking for some good food with a great atmosphere. However, we had just spent the day exploring the coast of Maine and by the time we made it back to the city it was quite late. We decided to wander over towards Quincy Market and after a few minutes we stumbled upon a lively pub called The Black Rose. This Irish pub was open, had a great menu and was packed with locals which were 3 great signs. We walked in and were seated right infront of a stage. Within minutes an Irish folk band hit the stage and started blasting some fantastic pub music. Almost the entire pub was singing along to the old Irish tunes being played by the band. Lindsay and I were sitting so close to the stage that we literally could barely talk over the music. We just enjoyed our food and the wonderful atomosphere barely saying a word to eachother. We had a flight to catch the next morning so eventually we left but we will never forget the Black Rose Pub and our farewell dinner in the great city of Boston.
