Our Favorite Orange Drink in China

Lindsay and I are the type of people that stick with something we like. During our 2010 trip to China we fell in love with an orange drink and probably bought 30 of them during our trip. It was a hot and muggy summer day in Beijing and we just stepped out of the Forbidden City after hours of walking around. Needless to say we were exhausted and extremely dehydrated. We worked our way over to a park and found a small shop selling numerous drinks. We of course picked up a water (for pregnant Lindsay) and I just pointed at some orange drink that looked good. When the lady handed us the drinks we were shocked as they were both extremely cold (you learn to appreciate the small things with international travel). We both guzzled the water and then when we opened the orange drink to try it we both feel in love. Imagine an orange Gatorade mixed with Tang and you will start to get the taste for this amazing, and cheap, Chinese drink. We went straight back to the same shop and ordered another and during the rest of our trip we were constantly stopping in stores to get our hands on this amazing drink. The small trash can in our guesthouse room was full to the brim with empty bottles of the stuff. :) If we ever find this drink in the states you can rest assured that we will buy an entire case!
